Accreditation

Gregbev employs four Lifting Machinery Inspectors (LMI’s) as registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) in line with legislative requirements in Southern Africa.
Our combined registration of our LMI’s allows us to inspect, test and certify the following lifting machinery:

  • Lifting tackle
  • Cradles, baskets, and work platforms
  • Chain blocks and Lever Hoists
  • EOT ( Electric Overhead Travelling) cranes including Beam crawls, monorails and winches. 
  • Counterbalanced forklift trucks
  • Truck Mounted Cranes
  • Telescopic Handlers
  • Mobile Elevated Work Platforms ( MEWPS ) – industry name is cherry pickers
  • Vehicle hoists
  • Mobile cranes

Our team of competent repair technicians are readily available to inspect, repair and re-certify your chain block and lever hoists.

Our qualified and competent group of inspectors are available 24/7 to inspect your lifting equipment including lifting machinery and lifting tackle.

Installation of lifelines, anchor points and working at height are another service offering we can deliver with confidence!

This also includes inspection and certification of safety harnesses, fall arrestors, and dedicated safe points.

In line with legislation and relevant technical standards, we ensure your lifting machinery are compliant when conducting an inspection and load testing.
